Thing 3

I've done RSS feeds before so it was easy to set up a few for this exercise.

I realized I must have skipped over the section on designing an avatar. I'm familar with avatars from gaming so no biggie to miss it but it would be fun. I could be tall for once! In the meantime, I put in a photo of myself. It's actually edited from our Christmas photo this year. We set up the timer on the camera and we all sat on the couch in the family room, buried ourself in our main activity from the year. Goofy but fun.

Thing 2

First, I can't understand all the concern about what Library 2.0 is called.  It's trivializing it.   Anyway it is more puzzling, but connected perhaps, how some librarians don't think it's coming when in reality much of it's already here.   I think it's exciting and will revitalize our profession.  I loved John Blyberg's post.  

Second, one thought from the video - adult learners learn when we reflect .  Interesting, I think sometimes in our busy days we more too quickly on to the next thing and never take that time.  Something to work on!  Oh and I'll be watching for unintended consequences!

Last, I was at an MLA meeting last week and we were all talking about our blogs.  Very cool.
